Upcoming Drops: July 3-9
Let’s face it: The NFT space moves really fast. Considering how quickly things can change in the metaverse, a week in NFTs might as well be a month IRL.
Don’t get us wrong — the more people onboarded into the space, the merrier. But because of the constant influx of great art and ideas, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with all the news, launches, and general happenings.
Well, you can put the days of endless Twitter and Discord scrolling behind you as we pull together a weekly list of upcoming NFT drops you definitely don’t want to miss. Here’s what to look out for this week.

When: July 4 at 6 p.m. ET

Ether
What: 5,555 PFP NFTs
When: July 9, 11 a.m. ET
Where: Ether.site
Why: Ether is an upcoming anime-themed PFP project that seeks to combine fashion, innovation, and storytelling. Somewhat adjacent to the wildly popular Azuki project, Ether was conceived by members of SpiritDAO.
The project originally launched with plans for a 10,000 token supply, but on July 2, the team announced that supply would be reduced to 5,555 citing “current market conditions and sentiment.”
Platonic Solids
Who: Anthony James and GODA
What: 1/1 animated NFTs
When: July 7 at 3 p.m. ET
Where: TheGODA.io
Why: Crafted by British-born, Los Angeles-based artist Anthony James and presented by the Gallery of Digital Assets (GODA), this collection seeks to re-investigate the five sacred geometries known as the Platonic solids — the tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, icosahedron, and dodecahedron. Rather than presenting them in sculptural forms, James has opted for animated and gamified NFTs.
